Who is ONA?
When men are lost to war, the future of a nation rests firmly - and powerfully- in HER hands.
ONA transforms deep trauma into economic power. We invest in Her psychological recovery and Her leadership because, a country's survival and eventual rebirth depend entirely on transitioning women from survival mode to economic leadership.
Our Strategic Approach
The Fund & Foster Hybrid Model
Our work is rooted in what is known as the Triple Nexus - the vital intersection where Humanitarian relief, Development, and Peace-building meet.
When you heal a woman's trauma, and then equip her with resources, you do not just help one individual - you activate a powerful economic engine.
By operating at these crossroads, we restore a woman's agency by shifting her from a passive recipient of aid into the self-determined architect of her own future.
When we empower a woman to move from the paralysis of trauma to the agency of enterprise, we are fueling the true engine of reconstruction.
Our Fund & Foster Hybrid Model is not about short-term charity; it is about systemic, structural change.
Through the Fund & Foster Hybrid Model, women cease to be viewed merely as victims of war; they become the primary drivers of macroeconomic reconstruction, rebuilding their nations from the ashes of conflict toward a sustainable, peaceful future.
ONA's Mission
Heal the Woman. Ignite the Economy. Rebuild the Nation.

ONA Foundation exists to bridge the gap between psychological recovery and the total reconstruction of societies torn by war. We are dedicated to the profound healing of women survivors, providing the critical trauma care necessary to transform pain into power. Once whole, we arm them with the resources and economic power to lead the transformation of their nations from the ground up. The devastation of war often leaves a vacuum in traditional leadership; as men are lost to the front lines or incapacitated by the violence of conflict , the weight of rebuilding entire nations falls squarely into the hands of women who become the pivotal economic contributors. ONA invests in women-led organisations that facilitate deep psychological healing as a prerequisite for leadership. By restoring the mental and emotional resilience of women, we empower them to step into their roles as primary breadwinners, community stabilisers , and key players in Track II diplomacy. When women heal, they don't just survive; they innovate, they trade, and they negotiate. We are here to ensure that the women tasked with rebuilding their countries have the psychological foundation and the economic agency to move their societies from the ruins of war to a future of sustainable, inclusive peace.
ONA is a force of total restoration
It transforms women traumatised by war into the unstoppable economic foundation of their nations, proving that when war levels the land, SHE is the power that builds it back.

A Note from the Founder
In the wreckage of conflict, the world tends to see statistics. We see numbers of displaced people, charts of destroyed infrastructure, and headlines of geopolitical shifts. But in the middle of all that noise, there is a person whose name is being erased by the chaos. In my native Polish, there is a simple, singular word that brings the focus back to where it belongs: ONA It means, quite simply, She/Her. I chose this name because war is a thief of identity. It attempts to turn a woman - a mother, and artist, a scientist, a leader - into a "refugee" or a "victim". ONA exists to give that identity back. We believe that peace is not just the absence of bullets; it is the presence of a whole and empowered self. You cannot rebuild a nation's economy if you do not first mend the hearts of the people who will lead it. This is why our mission is twofold: 1. To Heal the Inner World: We fund specialised, trauma-informed psychological care. We help her process the unspeakable so she can find her voice again. 2. To Build the Outer World: We provide the capital and training for her to become an economic engine. When she works, her family eats. When she thrives , her community recovers. When you support ONA, you aren't just giving "aid". You are investing in the architect of the future. You are saying to a woman in a conflict zone: I see you. I value your mind. I believe in your hands. War may have started the story, but She will be the one to finish it. Karolina Bredlowska Founder, ONA Foundation
